Falken, a brand represented in Portugal by AB Tyres, shines once again in the international spotlight as its latest film, "Why We Race," is nominated for the prestigious International Motor Film Award in the "Best Event Film" category.

This is the fifth time that Falken has secured a place in this significant event, having already won the coveted trophy on two previous occasions with the films "Whatever Comes Your Way" (2021) and "A Monument to the Art of Racing" (2023).

The new film "Why We Race" delves into the universe of the Japanese brand, exploring the reasons that drive the company to face such extreme challenges on the Nürburgring track. With a duration of approximately 3 minutes, the new clip presents a strong emotional charge, reflecting the passion and fascination for the legendary German track, having already surpassed 3.5 million views just over a month after its digital release.

The International Motor Film Awards is an internationally recognized festival that rewards the best work in directing and production in the automotive sector, with the jury composed not only of industry experts but also of personalities from the film and television industries.
